My excitement over becoming a father was momentarily overshadowed when my wife came home with a diaper bag. Please don’t get me wrong, I was excited and very much looked forward to my boy. I just didn’t like the idea of carrying anything that resembled a purse. Enter the 5.11 P.U.S.H. Pack. The name stands for “Practical Utility Shoulder Hold” and I quickly found out it’s good for much more.

Diaper Bag – Perfect if you need a few diapers and a couple of bottles. There’s still room for snacks, pacifier and a receiving blanket too.
Range Bag – This is probably one of my favorite uses. I can fit my cleaning kit, gun, and eye and ear protection. Also, the cordage on the zipper allows me to lock it. I do this to keep the cops happy if I get stopped (follow your local laws and take your own risks) Finally, there is still room for a couple of boxes of ammo if you’re inclined.
Bible Bag – This is what it’s most used for. It fits my full size Bible and that’s how I bring it to work. Even though I have a Bible app on my phone, it’s good to have a hardcopy for many reasons (that’ll be another post on another day).
Get Home Bag – This is also good for a medical kit/get home bag to keep in your car. There’s plenty of room for the essentials, and if your state allows it, a form of protection. Conveniently, there’s also a strap you can connect to your belt if you’re on the run.
Flat Dark Earth color is pretty dope too |
The 511 P.U.S.H. Pack is tough! I’ve had it now for about two years. Every stitch is still in place and other than a little dirt, it looks just as good as the day I picked it up. I highly recommend this bag and am glad to have it.
Have you tried the 511 P.U.S.H. Pack? What kind of multi purpose/concealed carry bag are you using? Leave me a comment!
