How to Maintain Genuine Leather

Use your over the counter leather conditioner (like this)  or coconut oil.  Some people use olive oil.  I prefer this coconut oil due to it's antimicrobial properties.

With the coconut oil, wipe some on the leather and hit it with a blowdryer or heat gun to encourage the oil to better soak in.  Use caution with your heat gun so you don't burn your leather.

If you handle your leather daily, there's a chance the oils from your hands are conditioning your leather and adding any sort of leather conditioner or oil may be unnecessary.
If your leather is dry or you just want a little more shine, get a little conditioner or oil on a clean rag and buff away.
